Give In

Everything feels so dark,
Maybe the world is against me,
Plotting to get rid of my very existence,
Can’t they see that I don’t pose a threat?
Locked from the inside searching for an exit.

Someone save me now,
Help me find an escape route,
Show me the light I require,
As a prisoner I am locked here,
Give me the freedom I desire.

Don’t let me give in,
My will is at its limit,
As my body decides to weaken,
My mind is next in line,
Save me what I’m about to do,
Break me away from the noose.

All the walls are caving in,
My mind is giving into the hallucinations,
Somebody grab my hand,
Before I close my eyes,
And scream my final goodbyes.
